Cayden Griffiths continues to build serious momentum in the boxing world!

In his second outing of the year, the undefeated welterweight scored a first-round knockout against Mexico’s Omar Munguia at Honda Center. Before that, Griffiths proved his durability, going the distance for the first time in his career and earning a unanimous decision over Nicaragua’s tough Lesther Espino at Acrisure Arena. At just 19, Griffiths is already making his presence felt in the sport, holding a perfect 8-0 record with seven knockouts.

In March 2025, Griffiths made a major move in his career by signing with Golden Boy Promotions, marking the beginning of his climb in the professional ranks. Shortly after, he traveled to Cancun, Mexico, where he delivered a devastating fifth-round knockout that had fight fans roaring. With that performance, he solidified his place as a rising star in the sport.

Known for his explosive power, Griffiths’ early success in the professional world is a reflection of his decorated amateur career, which includes winning a gold medal at the Junior Olympics National Championship, five California State titles and multiple national accolades, including becoming the National PAL Champion and National Silver Gloves Champion. He is also a Junior Golden Gloves Champion and a Two-Time Junior Olympic Silver Medalist.
